Milton Krasner and Krasner Jewelers are proud to be distiguished members of many leading industry organizations. Krasner Jewelers is a memeber of the largest California state jewelry association, the California Jewelers Association, the Jewelers of America and the Better Business Bureau of San Diego and Imperial Counties.

 

Founded in 1933 the California Jewelers Association (CJA) is the largest state jewelry association in the United States. Nearly 1,500 CJA Members (prominent retail jewelers throughout the state of California, as well as designers, manufacturers and service providers throughout the world) are currently enjoying the many outstanding benefits and services that membership provides – all available to CJA Members at exclusive pricing. As a member of CJA, we support efforts to promote and protect our industry in California and across the nation. Membership in CJA offers us the opportunity to enhance our experience and knowledge to better serve you.

 

Jewelers of America (JA) is the largest trade organization for retail jewelers, with more than 10,000 members nationwide. All JA members annually make an ethics commitment and have access to the best and most current education programs. Jewelers of America is a national association for the retail jeweler. JA is both a center of knowledge for the jeweler and an advocate for professionalism and high social, ethical and environmental standards in the jewelry trade. The JA mission is to assist all members in improving their business skills and profitability. JA will provide access to meaningful educational programs and services, leadership in public and industry affairs, and encourage members with common interests to act in their and the industry’s best interests

 

The Jewelers' Security Alliance (JSA) is a non-profit trade association with 18,000 members that has been providing crime information and assistance to the jewelry industry and law enforcement since 1883. Jewelers Security Alliance fulfills its mission of informing and alerting jewelers about crime through publications, a web site, seminars and consulting activities. JSA also works closely with the FBI and local law enforcement agencies, sharing its data and analysis in order to further the war on jewelry crime.

 

GIA and or GIA Alumni Association Established in 1931, the nonprofit Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is the world's foremost authority in gemology. GIA's mission is to ensure the public trust in gems and jewelry by upholding the highest standards of integrity, academics, science, and professionalism through education, research, laboratory services, and instrument development.

 

 The Jewelers Vigilance Committee was formed in 1912 to provide education and self-regulation to the jewelry industry. Members operate under the highest standards of business practice after pledging to comply with all laws applicable to the jewelry industry and make accurate representations about the products they sell.
The bottom line is that when you see the JVC logo and door decal, you can rely on our members' promise to uphold the ethics and integrity of the jewelry industry through their own business practices.
