Custom engagement ring with a cross and a sailboat. The couple to be married wanted a custom ring that reflected their shared passions for sailing and the church. Milton Krasner designed an engagement ring that incorporated a cross and a sailing boat. The diamond is embedded in the mast of the boat – a scale drawing of a very particular design – and a cross is on either side of the ring, just underneath the diamond (the side of the boat; can be easily seen in the perspective view in the rendering). The design is quite intricate, and by using computer modeling, Milton was able to convey to the groom-to-be exactly what his fiancee’s custom engagement ring would be like.
