The craftsman

The story
behind
every piece

Milton Krasner grew up surrounded by jewelry. His family had been in the business since 1943 — first in San Diego, simultaneously in Johannesburg, South Africa. The craft was never just a job. It was the family language.

After earning his Graduate Gemologist degree from the GIA in 1998, Milton opened Krasner Jewelers in La Jolla in 2001. He had already been in the jewelry industry since 1980, building the expertise and relationships that would define his practice. For over two decades, he has worked exclusively by appointment, one client at a time, no salespeople, no pressure.

Every piece starts the same way — with a conversation. We listen to your story, understand what matters to you, and then design something that couldn't have been made for anyone else.

Milton is a member of the California Jewelry Association, the Jewelers Security Alliance, and the GIA Alumni Association. We use Gemvision 3D design software to render every piece before a single stone is set — so you see exactly what you're getting before anything is made.

"I've been doing this for 46 years and every piece still excites me. When a client walks out with something we designed together — that's what this is all about."

— Milton Krasner, G.G.

Three generations.
